The Greetery
Recollective Holiday Collection
Hi friends! There is a New Release coming to The Greetery on Friday, October 6th at 10am EDT!! The release is packed full of amazing products for all of your holiday crafting!! Betsy has truly outdone herself and I know you are going to love all of the new products. I can't wait to show you what I have created...
My first card uses the Wrapped In Love stamp, die and sentiments die set. This set is so fun to use!! I love all of the wrapping accessory dies that are included in the set, too cute!
I started my card by die cutting and stamping my rolls of wrapping paper. I then used the Market Basket die set to create my basket to hold the paper rolls. Next, using the Wrapped In Love dies I created the wrapping accessories. I love the scissors and spool of thread!
For my sentiment I used the Wrapped In Love stamp set and the sentiment die. I stamped the sentiment directly onto my panel and then heat embossed and die cut the word wrapped for all little added detail. Lastly, I attached my images to my card panel to finish my card. This set is so fun to use and there are so many possibilities.
The Wrapped In Love die set includes a larger roll of wrapping paper that can be used as a tag although it also fits perfectly onto an A2 card base. I used the die and created a couple of tags. Once my tags were finished I stamped my sentiments directly onto the tags and then created a few wrapping accessories to use as accent for the tags.
I love that this sets works perfectly for cards but can also be used for tags! Which do you prefer? Do you think you will use it more for tags or cards?
My next card uses the Winterland Layers stamp and die set to create my foliage and branches. This is a beautiful set that creates both a combination of branches and foliage or individual pieces to give you even more options. Once my stamping was finished I used a glue pen and added a little glitter to my berries and foliage for a little added detail.
I ink blended my panel with Nectar ink (Concord & 9th) and added a few splatters with coordinating reinker. I then used the Comfort & Joy stamp and die set to create my sentiment for the center of my card. This is such a beautiful set of heartfelt sentiments.
To finish my card I attached my branches around my sentiment with foam adhesive. I then trimmed my panel down and attached it to a Cranberry cardstock mat before attaching it to an A2 card base.
For my final card today I used the Big Beautiful Bow die... I am in love with this bow!! It is so easy to create and I love the detail. I die cut the pieces from Poppy cardstock and ink blended a shade darker ink to the bottom layers and center piece to create a shadow. I then assembled the bow and attached it to my card panel.
Next, I used the Wrapped In Love stamp and sentiments die to create my sentiment. I then used the Botanicuts: Juniper die and Winterland Layers set to create my branches and greenery. I added a little glitter to the die cuts and tucked them under the bow to finish my card.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my cards and tags. Remember, all of the new products will be available on Friday, October 6th.
