So Very Merry

Hi crafty friends! I am back today with a quick and easy card that uses the Plaid Tidings: Very Merry set from The Greetery.

I started my card by cutting some strips of cardstock in fun Christmas colors. I then attached the strips to a piece of copy paper (the thin paper makes it easier to die cut) and used the shadow die from the Plaid Tidings: Very Merry Die set to create my striped background. Next, I again used the Very Merry dies to die cut the letters from white cardstock. I attached the letters to the backer (shadow) die. Using the same strips I created a border for the bottom of my card. I then used the Scallop Border die from Pretty Pink Posh to die cut the scalloped edge at the bottom of my panel. Once my panel was finished I used the Plaid Tidings: Very Merry stamp set to stamp my companion sentiment (Hoping Your Christmas Is) onto my card panel. I trimmed my panel down and attached it to an A2 card base... doesn't get much more simpler than that!
