Gina K Wreath Builder Bundle

A few weeks ago I was able to attend the Scrapbook Expo. It is always a fun event and a great way to see some products in person.  My sister-in-law and I are both into paper crafting (she loves planners) so it was fun that we were able to spend the day together.

I have to say I fell in Love with the Wreath Builder Bundle by Gina K Designs. It is so smart (can a supply be smart?) that I have been making wreaths ever since.  I will definitely be sharing a lot of wreaths on Instagram!
First of all, look at all of these Gorgeous colors:
This is the 2018 Add-On Collection of Card Stock and Coordinating Ink. I had never used Gina K ink before...it is Wonderful! You get a perfect impression with just one layer of ink. The ink does "settle" a little and even out after it has completely dried.  I will definitely be adding to my color palette!

One thing I love about the wreath builder set is that you can use any small stamp you have to make your wreath. So I pulled out a few favorites. I used the original Wreath Builder stamp set, Bee Friends by Pretty Pink Posh, and Wee Folk by Papertrey Ink.
There are lots of great videos and tutorials on using the wreath builder so I will not go into a lot of detail. I used my Misti stamping tool and just kept turning my paper in the stencil until my circle was complete. Then you add the next stamp and do the same. You can keep adding stamped images until your wreath is full. Here are a few photos to show how my wreath looked in the beginning:

I just kept stamping and turing my paper in the stencil until I got my wreath built. It is amazing because everything is lined up and spaced perfectly!! I wanted a full size card front so my paper is hanging over the edge of the stencil. Had I used a square piece of card stock it would have fit in the stencil perfectly. Here are my finished cards.

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Gina K Wreath Builder, Papertrey Ink Wee Folk, and Pretty Pink Posh Bee Friends
Paper: Gina K 2018 Add-On Collection
Ink: Gina K 2018 Add-On Ink Cube Collection
Other: Wreath Builder Stencil, Misti

Thanks for stopping by,
Dana

  4. I've seen so many great wreath cards using wreath builder and I still haven't broken down and bought one yet. I'm always the last one to jump on the bandwagon of good products. All your cards are adorable and I love the Europen feel to your sweet wreaths. The bees...... so cute!!! Scrapbook Expo comes close to me (about 2 hours away) in September. May have to go back for more shopping this year. Thanks for enabling me... I mean inspiring me. ;0)

    1. Thank you so much! It is a great product, you won’t be disappointed. The stencils are so “smart” and easy to use. You can buy the stencils separately or with the stamp set. You “need” them (lol). Thanks again and have a wonderful week!
