Cottontail Cutie

MFT Stamps

March 27, 2019

Good Morning and Welcome! When I saw the new MFT Stamps: Cottontail Cutie Die Set at Butterfly Reflections, Ink I knew I "needed" it for my Easter treats this year.

I started by die cutting my bunnies from cardstock. I used liquid glue to attach all of the little pieces...it came together very quickly. The dies leave an impression where the layers (example, eyes, face, etc) go so you know you are getting everything in the right place.

For my card, I used patterned paper from the Doodlebug Design: Simply Spring 6x6 Paper Pad. I used the Lawn Fawn: Mushroom Border Die for my grass. And my frame is from the Pretty Pink Posh: Scallop Frames Die Set. I layered my pieces together and attached my bunny with foam adhesive. I love the bright, fun colors.

For my treat holders, I made a tag out of my bunnies. I filled a pretzel sleeve (from the craft store) with candy and attached my tag to the top.

I will definitely be making a few more of these to hide along with our Easter eggs this year. Do you hide candy and other small things, or just eggs? We hide all kinds of things...then the "big" kids will still hunt!!

Enjoy your day,
Dana
