Magnolia Flowers

Pretty Pink Posh

March 5, 2019

Good Morning and Welcome to my second post for the day...this is a busy week!! Today, I am sharing another look at the New Release from Pretty Pink Posh. Have you already done your shopping? The release is Amazing and will definitely put you in the mood for Spring!! My card today focus on the Magnolia Flowers Stamp Set. This is a Gorgeous flower set perfect for coloring, though today I decided to take a different approach.

I started my card by ink blending my background with Distress Ink. I used Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn and Peacock Feather. Next, I splattered my background with a little black reinker. I set this aside to dry and began working on the rest of my card.

I stamped my Magnolia Flowers with black ink and then added clear embossing powder. The clear embossing really gives the flowers a nice shine though it is hard to see in a photograph. Next, I used the Magnolia Flowers Coordinating Dies to die cut my flowers and leaves. I attached my flowers to the bottom of my card with foam adhesive and liquid glue. For my sentiment, I used the Thinking of You Script Die (a must have). I die cut the sentiment twice and stacked them together for added dimension and stability.

I hope you enjoyed my card. Maybe it will encourage Spring to start making an appearance.
