Reverse Confetti

Good Morning Friends!! I am so excited to be here today sharing the Reverse Confetti New Release with all of you!! Over the next few days I will be sharing some sneak peeks of the new products that will be in the Reserve Confetti store on March 8th!!

Today, I have a card using the Hatbox Florals and Word Duo Die: Mom & Dad. I started my card by die cutting the word Mom from white cardstock- numerous times. I carefully attached the word Mom to my card panel on a diagonal. Then, I trimmed down my card panel to 4 x 5.25 inches cutting off all of the overhang. I think the white on white background really stands out, without overpowering my overall card design. Have you tried this technique? I had used it before, then was reminded of it again by Melissa Bickford on her blog a few weeks ago. Thanks Melissa for the Inspiration!!

Next, I stamped my Hatbox Florals images with a watercolor friendly ink. I used my Zig Clean Color Pens to lightly watercolor my floral image. I then used the coordinating die to die cut my flowers.


I stamped my sentiment on a white cardstock strip and attached it to a piece of light lavender paper. I attached this to my card panel and added my floral image with foam adhesive. Lastly, I attached my card panel to an A2 card base.

    Great idea to use Mom die over and over on the card front! The die fonts are fun!
