Giving Thanks

Pretty Pink Posh

November 8, 2019

Good Morning and Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week and have some fun plans for your weekend. Today, I am stopping by to share a Thanksgiving card with you all. I feel like Thanksgiving is sometimes passed over because of the rush and excitement of Christmas but it is a Holiday I enjoy. I also really enjoy sending out a few Thanksgiving cards. I feel like people appreciate them and it is a good way to say Thank You to your friends and family. I hope you consider sending out a few this year too.

I started my card by creating my background. I used the Pumpkin Background Stencil and kraft cardstock along with kraft ink to create a tone on tone pattern. I love the detail this stencil creates...so pretty!

Next, I stamped the cornucopia from the Fall Signs Stamp Set. Isn't that a Gorgeous image? I colored the cornucopia with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut it out.

To finish my card, I added a vellum rectangle to my card front to help "soften" the background and allow my cornucopia to stand out. I stamped my sentiment from the Thanksgiving Scene Stamp set and attached this to my card front. Lastly, I attached everything to my A2 card base.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope I inspired you to create a few Thanksgiving cards to send out to your friends and family this year.

Enjoy your day,
Dana
