Good Morning Friends! I hope you all had a Wonderful weekend. We have been in DC for a few days visiting our daughter. My husband needs to be in St. Louis on today for a meeting so I convinced him to leave a few days early so we could visit Meredith...it is on the way, right? Just kidding, but if I need to go to St. Louis I might as well leave a few days early to see Meredith too.
Today, I am sharing a Winter card with a mix of new and previous released products from Pretty Pink Posh.
I started my card by creating my background. I used Distress Oxide Ink in Spun Sugar, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac. I then laid the Snowflakes Stencil over my background and added Ranger Texture Paste in Transparent Gloss to my background. I set this aside to dry and began working on my card design.
Next, I stamped my penguins from the Winter Signs and the Penguin Pals stamp set. I love how these two sets can work together. I colored my images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
To finish my card I used the Storybook 5 Die to create my frame. I attached this to my stenciled background and added my adorable little penguins with foam adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed my card today. I think it will be perfect for Christmas, but also work really well in January or February too!
Enjoy your day,
