The Greetery: Cake Pops Collection
May 28, 2020
Good Morning Friends and Welcome Back to Day 2 of The Greetery Release. Did you enjoy all of the projects and inspiration yesterday? So many amazing projects were shared! Today, I am using the fun Cake Pop Collection! This is an Amazing set of dies that create the most adorable little cakes.
For my cakes, I started with the Cake Pops Dies. The basic set of dies includes everything you need to make the cakes, though there are lots of fun add on pieces that you can also use. I cut all of my pieces with white cardstock and ink blended them with Distress Oxide Ink. The colors I used were: Festive Berry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers.
For my first cake, I am only using the Cake Pop Dies. The basic set includes the candles and the small flowers that I included on the top of my cake. There will also be deeper bubbles (clear domes) being released to create your cakes with. This new size will measure 2-1/2" in diameter and 1" deep. At the bottom of my cake, I also used the Tear Away Circle Die that was released with the Candy Pops Collection. This die allows you to create a perforated opening at the bottom of your cakes, so the recipient can get the treats out of the container without tearing apart the cake.
For my next cake, I used the Cake Pop Dies along with the Cake Pop Number Candles. There is a slit in the circle cake topper and the numbers (and other accessories) have a flap on the bottom that you fold and slide into the slit so they can stand up...so smart and easy! My daughter is turning 20 next week, so I thought this would be perfect for her place setting at our dinner table.
Isn't this little banner just the cutest? It is from the Cake Pops Banner Die Collection. I stamped Happy Birthday with the Cake Pops Banner Sentiments Mini Stamp Set. Did you notice the cake stand? This is easily made with the Cake Pops Stand Die Collection. So fun and the perfect little stand for all of your cakes!!
I hope you enjoyed my Cake Pops! They were so fun to create and I can't wait to use them for daughter's birthday next week. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Remember to stop by The Greetery Blog for all the New Release information. The New Release will be Available at The Greetery's Online Shop tomorrow, May 29th at 10:00 AM EST!!
Now we can't have a Celebration without a GIVEAWAY!! The Greetery will be giving away two $50 gift cards for the Day 2 hop. Winners will be picked randomly from all the comments left along the blog hop. So the more comments you leave along the way, the more chances you will have to win.
