Ink To Paper
Wild Fields
May 11, 2020
Good Morning Friends! It is Release Week at Ink to Paper and today is Day 1 of the Countdown. I am so excited to be a "guest designer" this month and I can't wait to share all my projects with you all.
Today, I am using a gorgeous new stamp and die set called Wild Fields. The way this set is designed, there are lots of possibilities. I started my card my doing a lot of stamping. I die cut my images and lined everything up in my Misti. I then just stamped a whole pile of blooms and blossoms...way more than I ended up using on my card. Once everything was stamped, I played around with the placement. Here is a little tip: Once I had the placement the way I wanted it, I took a quick photo with my phone so I would remember were everything went.
For my card panel, I ink blended Hawaiian Shores ink with a blending brush. I trimmed the panel down and attached it to a Weathervane cardstock mat. Using my photo as a guide, I attached my branches and flowers to my card front with a little liquid glue and foam adhesive.
To finish my card, I stamped my sentiment onto a banner and attached it to my card front. Lastly, I added a few jewels as a final touch.
Remember, the New Release will be available at Ink To Paper on May 15th at 10:00 PM EST.
Supplies:
Stamp and Die Set: Wild Fields (New Release)
Ink: Hibiscus Burst, Summer Sunrise, Green Parakeet and Hawaiian Shores
Thank you for joining me today. I will be back tomorrow with Day 2 of the countdown.
Enjoy your day,
