Owl Always Love You

Good Morning! Welcome back to Day 3 of the Ink to Paper Countdown. Today, I am using some of the new Father's Day products along with the new stitching dies.

I started my card by stamping the fun little owls from the Owl Always Love You stamp set. I also stamped my Happy Father's Day sentiment (also included in the set) and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. 

For my card panel, I used a blending brush and added Blueberry Sky ink to the edges. I then used the Border Bling: Twigs die. I die cut the frame from white cardstock and attached it to my card panel. For my sentiment I used Inside Greetings: Father's Day stamp set and stamped it directly onto my card panel. Lastly, I added my owl and die cut sentiment with foam adhesive. These little owls just make me smile! 

I always have a hard time thinking of a Father's Day gift, so I end up giving my dad a gift card for most occasions. I know the In Stitches: Back Pocket Die set will come in handy and be used often. It is the perfect size to hold a gift card and so easy to use. I die cut the pocket from felt in Blueberry Sky and Simply Chartreuse. I then used a basic stitch to stitch around the pocket and close everything up. *I do not sew and have not used the stitching dies very often... this little pocket was so quick and easy to put together. It took me just a short amount of time to complete it.

There are a few other accents dies included with this set, but you can see I kept my pocket fairly simple.
