Ink To Paper

Release Countdown Day 1

August 11, 2020

Good Morning Friends! It is Day 1 of the Release Countdown for Ink To Paper and you are in for a treat! This release is full of Fall, Halloween, Flowers and everything in between. You can find all of the product information for the products being showcased today on the Papertrey Ink Blog. I created two card to share with you today. Let's get started...

For my first card, I am using the new Hello Pumpkin Stamp Set. This set includes a few different pumpkin styles, a nest and a few gorgeous sentiments. I started my card by doing all of my stamping and die cutting of the pumpkins and leaves.

Next, I used the new Border Bling: Leaves Die and ran it through my die cutting machine with kraft cardstock. I then inlaid all of the leaves back into the die before attaching it to my A2 card base. I stamped my sentiment (Hello Pumpkin) onto a piece of vellum and heat set it with gold embossing powder. I then wrapped my sentiment around my panel and inlaid it back into my frame. To finish my card, I attached my pumpkins and leaves to my card front with foam adhesive.

Ink Colors: Orange Zest, Canyon Clay, Terracotta Tile, Americana, Simply Chartreuse, Olive Twist, Classic Kraft and Cocoa Bean
Distress Oxide Ink: Speckled Egg (center piece)

For my next card, I used the Scaredy Cat Stamp Set. I stamped my cats in Limeade Ice, Orange Zest and Amethyst Allure and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Next, I created my card panel. I attached a piece of True Black polka dot paper to the center of my panel. I then stamped my sentiment and wrapped my panel with some baker's twine. Lastly, I attached the fun little cats to my card front with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today. I will be back tomorrow with the second day of release projects. Remember the New Release will be available on August 15 at 10:00 PM EST.

Enjoy your day,
