Pretty Pink Posh
August 28, 2020
Hi Friends and Happy Friday! I hope you all had a good week. Today I am sharing a card for Pretty Pink Posh.
I've had the Sea Friends Stamp Set sitting on my desk for a month or so now, and I was determined to use it before summer was over. This card took a lot of turns while I was creating it. Originally, I had planned to ink blend on the die cut windows and then inlay the pieces back into the frame. Though while I was creating it, I felt that it was too "busy". So I went back to my plan and decided to keep my background white and clean. I like the way the colored images pop on the white background. What do you think?
Here is my original idea... Definitely fun and summery, but it just didn't work.
Back to my card... I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers. I then used the Sea Friends Die Set to die cut my images.
For my card panel, I used the Storybook 1 Die. The Storybook Series is such a great basic set of dies. I love how they easily help you create a card layout and design. I popped my panel up with foam adhesive and attached it to my A2 card base. I then attached my sea friends and images to my card front.
I hope you enjoyed my card today. Have a great weekend and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.
Enjoy your day,
