New Release Countdown: Day 1

Hi friends and welcome back to day 2 of the new release countdown for Papertrey Ink. My first card uses the new Floral Paradise stamp and die set. This set creates a floral bouquet with the amazing Birds of Paradise floral images. Such unique flowers and unlike anything that I already have. I love them!!

For my vase I used the new Vase Collection 3 stamp and die set. This set coordinates perfectly with the Floral Paradise set. I love the size and scale too. 

For my card panel I used a brick stencil that I had in my stash. I ink blended it with Soft Stone ink and attached it to a Spring Moss card base. Next, I stamped my sentiment (from the Floral Paradise set) onto the bottom of my panel and then added my vase and floral arrangement. Lastly, I added a few clear sequins as a final touch.

My next card uses the new Stitched in Love set. I love how these floral images look like they have been stitched. I stamped them in colored cardstock with coordinating ink for a tone on tone look. 

For the bird I used the new Feathered Friends 13 die set. I ink blended the pieces with Enchanted Evening, Blueberry Sky and Honey Nut ink. Once I assembled the bird I spritzed it with water to add a little more detail. 

To finish my card, I attached the Border Bling: Skinny Diagonal Frame to my Honey Nut card panel. I then attached my images with foam adhesive for some added dimension. Lastly, I once again added a few sequins to finish my card.
