Taylored Expressions

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a Happy 4th of July. My best friend from high school came home and we were able to do our traditional 4th of July visit at her mom's house. We went to the downtown parade, visited, had lunch together and just enjoyed our day with our families. Last year everything was canceled due to covid, so this year was all the more special. It feels so good to be able to do a few "normal" things again. 

Today I have two card to share with you that use some things the summer release at Taylored Expressions. My first card uses the Sweet Scoops Stencil & Stamp Set. I used the stencils and ink in a rainbow of colors to make the ice cream cones. The stencils are so easy and quick to use. I then used Glitter Gel to add a little sparkle to the top of each scoop. Once that was dry I used the Sweet Scoops Die to cut all of the ice creams. I mounted the ice creams onto a panel that I had die cut with the Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets Die Set and ink blended with aqua ink. For my sentiment, I used the Mini Strips Hello Summer Stamp Set. 

My next card uses the Anything's Popsicle Stencil & Stamp Combo Set. This time I used the larger stand alone die and just ran it through  my die cutting macing multiple times. I then used the single stencil and added ink to each popsicle. This was actually quicker because I didn't have to do any masking. I once again used the same stitched panel die and sentiment set to finish my card.
