Pretty Pink Posh

Hi friends! Last week I was on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog sharing two cards that uses their new release stencils. I also wanted to share them here on my own blog too. Sorry if you have already seen them.

For my first card I am using the new Falling Leaves stamp, stencil and die set. I love these combo sets, so fun and easy to use. I started my card by stamping my leaves in a variety of fall colors. I used aqua instead of the traditional green... what do you think? I thought it was a fun change and unexpected.

Once my leaves were stamped, I placed the stencil over the outline images and added coordinating dye ink with a blending brush. (Colors used: Pinkfresh Ink in Peach Fuzz, Clementine, Persimmon, Ocean Breeze and Mermaid Cove) I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Next, I splattered the leaves with a little white and gold paint. I then attached them to my card panel with foam adhesive in a random pattern.

Lastly, I used the sentiment included in the Falling Leaves set to stamp my sentiment.

My next card uses the new Fall Leaves Background stencil.

I started my card by making my panel with the Fall Leaves Background stencil. I sprayed the back of the stencil with Pixie Spray and added dye ink in shades of orange (Peach Fuzz, Clementine and Persimmon) to my three rectangles. I then attached the three rectangles to my card panel with foam adhesive.

To finish my card I used the new Cozy Fall Critters set to stamp my bunny and fall foliage. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Lastly, I attached my images and sentiment to my card with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today. I will be back tomorrow with the new release countdown for Papertrey Ink.

Enjoy your day,

Dana
