A Set of Fall Cards

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a Wonderful weekend!! I have a set of cards today that uses the PhotoPlay Fall Breeze stamp set and paper pad. 

I began my cards by stamping the Fall Breeze Background on a piece of cardstock. 

I used Canyon Clay and Terracotta Tile ink from Papertrey Ink for my stamping. Once I had my panels stamped I used the Papertrey Ink- Say It Simply: Giving Thanks die to cut my sentiment. I then layered my panel with coordinating cardstock to give it a mat (border) and help it stand out. 

Next, I attached my card panel to some patterned paper from the PhotoPlay Fall Breeze 6x6 paper pad. This is a great paper pad for fall cards! The colors are perfect, the small prints work well for cards, and the paper is double sided.

My cards are very similar, just swapped out the patterned paper and ink colors. I also stacked my die cut (Giving Thanks For You) to give it some dimension.

For my next two cards I used the same stamp. But this time I used VersaMark ink and copper embossing powder to the stamped background.

I love the copper embossing on the Dark Indigo cardstock. 

It is also very pretty on a neutral color. I stamped and embossed my sentiment too. My sentiments are from the Papertrey Ink: Autumn Pumpkins Stamp Set. 

I once again layered my panel onto a cardstock mat and then onto the PhotoPlay patterned paper. I think this card set will make a perfect hostess gift! Do you enjoy making card sets? Do you use them for gifts?
