String of Lights
Technique Tuesday
October 3, 2018
Hello and Welcome! I am back today with a few projects using the Technique Tuesday: String of Lights Christmas Stamp Set from their New Release. As soon as I saw this stamp set I had lots of ideas on how I wanted to use it. It will definitely become a favorite!!
I began my card by stamping the lights onto a white piece of cardstock. The lights are very easy to line up and continue across your cardstock piece making them your desired length. Once I had everything stamped I colored the lights with Copic Markers.
Next, I trimmed down my piece of white cardstock and added the sentiment. This set has some really fun sentiments included with it. I added a Scallop Border and mounted my focal point on a piece of polka dot patterned paper.
I wanted to do one card horizontal and one card vertical to show how easy it is to adjust the length of the Christmas lights.
I also made two Christmas tags with the Stamp Set. I cut the tags out of white cardstock and stamped the lights across the top and bottom of the tag. I once again colored the lights with Copic Markers and added a sentiment. To finish the tags I tied them together with baker's twine and added two small bells from the craft store.
Please stop by Technique Tuesday's website and have a look at their New Release! Lots of inspiration and wonderful new products!!
