Papertrey Ink: Make It Monday
October 11, 2018
Good Morning!! I hope you all are having a Wonderful week!! Today, I have a couple of cards for the Papertrey Ink: Make It Monday challenge. Ashley Newell from Paper Suite has a great video up on the blog showing us how to add a pattern to a frame die cut.
On my first card, I began by using the Background Basics: Birch Stamp Set. I stamped the birch pattern on a piece of white cardstock and used the frame die from the Make it Market All Through the House kit. Next, I created a scene using the stamps and dies from the Make it Market Wonderland kit. I centered my scene in the middle of my frame and attached it to my card front.
For my next card, I used the new Make it Market Fairy Tale Christmas kit. I just received my kit in the mail and I couldn't wait to use it!! Betsy is truly amazing and thinks of every detail when she is designing these kits.
I began my card by creating my frame. I then stamped the trees (in the background) and all the little adorable images. Once I had everything stamped I assembled my focal image. I mounted it on a piece of neutral paper that was included in the kit. Next, I stamped my sentiment. I mounted my sentiment on my card panel and wrapped a piece of velvet ribbon across the top. The ribbon is from the accessory kit. I then layered my frame piece on top with foam adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed my cards today!! Did you order the new Make it Market kit from Papertrey Ink? I am looking forward to seeing what everyone creates with it!!
Most everything I used today came from one of the Make It Market kits...but, please ask if you have a specific question and I will do my best to answer it.

DeleteDana, what beautiful Christmas scenes you’ve created! I’ve yet to use my Wonderland Kit (but planning on it) so didn’t buy the new Fairytale one. Hopefully, I won’t regret it. 😉
ReplyDeleteThank You So Much Kathy!! I hadn't really used it either...I am trying to change that!! Actually I am using all my kits, not sure why I have been "hoarding" them...
