Hello and Welcome!! Today is a New Release at Technique Tuesday. I was sent the Christmas Lights Border Die  to use for my card today. I love dies that basically do all the work for you and this one is Perfect and Oh So Cute!!

I started my card by die cutting the string of lights from a piece of white cardstock. I then cut and inlaid all the different colors of lights back into the die cut. 

I attached this piece to my card front and then inlaid the black cord pieces back into the die cut. These  pieces are small and it did take a big of time, but I felt it was worth it. It really finished off my card and I didn't want to see the polka dot print through my die cut. 

I used the Technique Tuesday: String of Lights Christmas Stamp Set for my sentiment. I stamped it on a banner and die cut the same banner from red cardstock. I layered the two banners together and attached them to my card front.
