Hi Friends and Happy Friday! I hope you all are doing well. Today I am sharing a clean and simple card for Technique Tuesday using the  Hello Hollyhocks Stamp Set. There are so many different ways to color this gorgeous stamp set, but today I did a little something different. Let's get started...

I started by stamping my Hollyhocks in VersaMark ink and heat setting my image with gold embossing powder. 

*Please excuse the next few pictures but I created this card in the evening so my pictures are a little dark. I hope the steps are helpful though.

Next, I sprinkled Nuvo Shimmer Powder in Cherry Bomb on my image. A little powder goes a long way... I also taped my watercolor panel down with some washi tape so it would stay flat when I added my water.

I then added water to my image. 

I used a paper towel to dab up any excess water and let my image dry naturally.

Once my shimmer powder was dry I used the coordinating Hello Hollyhocks Crafting Dies to die cut my image.  

For my card design, I created a mat with soft gray cardstock. I scored the edges to create a frame and attached this to my A2 card base. Next, I cut a smaller piece of white cardstock and stamped my sentiment. I then attached this to my card front and added my die cut Hollyhocks with foam adhesive.
