Ink To Paper: Countdown Day 4

Happy Father's Day

May 14, 2020

Welcome back to the final day of the Ink To Paper Countdown. The New Release will be available tomorrow at 10:00 PM EST in the Ink to Paper online store.

For my card today, I began by creating my background. I glued .5 inch strips of cardstock together to crate my card panel. The colors I used were Orange Zest, Simply Chartreuse, Enchanted Evening and Weathervane.

Next, I used the To Die For Sentiment: Father's Day Die. I die cut it from white cardstock three times and stacked the dies together to give my sentiment a little dimension and stability. Lastly, I attached my sentiment to my card front.

A fairly quick and easy card to put together, but definitely one I will be creating again.

Thanks again for joining me all this week. It has been so fun and an honor to be part of the Ink To Paper Countdown. I would love to hear which sets have been your favorite, or what you will be ordering tomorrow evening?? Remember the New Release will be available tomorrow night at 10:00 PM EST.

Enjoy your day,

  1. I don’t have any living fathers to make cards for, but I LOVE this. The color combination is perfect, and I can use my old Shaped Sayings: Birthday die. TFS! Where do you buy your colored envelopes?

    1. Thank you so much Kathy! Yes, I agree... I think this card design/background would be perfect for a birthday card too. I get my colored envelopes mostly from Paper Source, though I do have a few packs from MFT Stamps and Gina K Designs too. I hope that helps. Have a great day!!
