Ink To Paper

Countdown Day 2

May 12, 2020

Good Morning Friends and Welcome Back to Day 2 of the Ink To Paper Countdown. Did you love all the projects that were shared yesterday? It is so fun to see how all of the different designers use a stamp set.

For today's card, I am using the new Floral Delicacies stamp and die set. I started my card my ink blending a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock with Distress Oxide Ink (Mowed Lawn, Lucky Clover, Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron). I then used the large leaf cluster die to die cut my leaves. I am in Love with this die!! I attached the leaves to the top and bottom of my card panel and trimmed off the overhang. Next, I die cut a Skinny Frames: Diagonal border frame and attached it directly over my leaves.

For my flowers, I used Raspberry Fizz and Pure Poppy ink. Don't you just love these big fun flowers? So unique! I stamped my floral centers with VersaMark ink and heat set them with gold embossing powder.

I stamped my sentiment onto a vellum strip and once again added gold embossing powder. I wrapped the vellum strip around my card panel, attached it to the back, and then attached everything to my A2 card base. Lastly, I added a few gold sequins to my card front to tie everything together.

For my second card, I used the leaves that are included in the Floral Delicacies stamp set.

I created my panel by stamping the leaves in a variety of colors: Hibiscus Burst, Summer Sunrise, Bright Buttercup, Green Parakeet and Hawaiian Shores.

Next, I stamped my sentiment onto a black strip and heat set it with white embossing powder.

Lastly, I added clear jewels to fill in and finish my card.

Thanks for joining me today! Remember the New Release will be available at Ink To Paper on May 15th at 10:00 PM EST.

Enjoy your day,
