The Greetery

Hi friends! I hope you all had a great week and are ready for the weekend. I haven't been very motivated to create this week so I thought I would pull out a few things from The Greetery to make a card. That always seems to help...

The BotaniCuts Sunflower Dies have been sitting new in my basket for awhile now. So I pulled those out and ran them through my die cutting machine. I ink blended the flowers and leaves with PTI ink (Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, Bright Buttercup, Summer Sunrise, Green Parakeet and New Leaf). Next, I spritzed everything with water and used white acrylic paint to add a few splatters. Once they were dry I assembled the flowers and began working on the rest of my card.

For my card panel, I used the Wide Stripes Stencil from Pretty Pink Posh. I added Soft Stone ink to a Soft Stone piece of cardstock for a tone one tone look. For the basket I used the Market Basket Die Set. Once my basket was assembled I attached it to my card panel with foam adhesive. Lastly, I attached my flowers and tucked in my leaves to finish my card.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my card and I will be back tomorrow with a few cards that use the Card Kit of the Month from Spellbinders.

Enjoy your day,

  3. Beautiful colors on your Botanicuts added to your basket. Lovely combination!
I hope you have a fun Fourth of July! ( we were on vacation for a couple weeks all the way from our home in Florida to NH. So very nice to see 2 of our children and nice to be home again. I think everyone in America had the same idea we did and the roads were jammed packed. But still worth the visit).

    1. Oh Stephanie, a road trip sounds so fun!! Yes, I agree. We went to Nashville last month and it was packed. I think people are ready to get back to “normal”. I am so glad you were able to visit you family. ❤️ I hope you are doing well and had a fun weekend ❤️🤍💙
