New Release Countdown: Day 4

Hi friends! Today is the final day of the new release countdown for Papertrey Ink. All of the new products will be available tomorrow night (February 27th) at 10:00 pm EST in the online shop. You can also find all of the new release information on the Papertrey Ink Blog. 

For today's post we are using the new Feathered Friends #20 die set. This month the dies create the most adorable rooster. I started by die cutting the rooster and all of the pieces from white cardstock. I then used a blending brush and added ink to the pieces before assembling it. 

To create my background, I used a sunrise stencil that I had in my stash. I then used the new Picket Fence die to create my fence line. I covered the bottom of my card with a grassy edge that had been die cut with the new Grassy Edge die. Lastly, I used the Sweet Celebrations set to create my florals, strawberries and sentiment for the bottom of my card.
