With Love

Hi friends! I hope you all had a wonderful week and are ready for the weekend. Will you be watching the Super Bowl? I am not a football fan so I doubt I spend much time watching it... we usually go to a small party at some friend's house, but this weekend my husband is skiing with our daughter so I think I am just going to stay home. I am thinking I will spend the day crafting, which sounds like more fun to me.

We have a few weddings coming up over the next few month so I decided to get busy with my cards. I don't normally make a lot of wedding cards so it took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to use. I knew I wanted a lot of white space but other than that I had no plan... so I started looking through my basket of products from The Greetery. I saw the Boxwood Heart Wreath die set  and decided to begin with that. I love the wreath in white and I think it's so pretty for a wedding card.

For my florals, I used the Forget Me Not dies. I ink blended them with Pigment ink in Glow and Turmeric. Next, I used the Put A Bow On It set. I used the same colors as I did for my blending but added in a layer of Himalayan ink for the shading. Lastly, I attached my wreath to a card panel that had been die cut with the Sparkling Diamonds cover plate from Pinkfresh Studio.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you liked my card. I will be back tomorrow with my card for the Pretty Pink Posh blog hop.

Enjoy your day,
