Papertrey Ink
New Release Countdown: Day 1
It's time for a new release at Papertrey Ink and I think you are going to Love all of the new products!! This month's release will leave you dreaming about spring. There are fun new Easter products, things for spring, a floral set, eggs, carrots and so much more.
My first card uses the new Weave A Basket die set. I am in love with this set!! I began my card by creating my basket with white and lilac grace cardstock. The basket includes two dies, one cuts the basket and the other cuts the strips that you weave to create the basket. So fun and easy to use. Once I created my basket I made the bow and eggs with the other dies included in the set.
To create my card panel, I used a cloud stencil to create my background. I then used the new Grassy Edge die to create the grass at the bottom of my card. Next, I added a white frame that had been die cut with the Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frame die to frame my scene. Once I had my basket and eggs attached I used the new Spring Greetings stamp set to stamp my sentiment onto my card panel.
While the basket it is perfect for Easter it will also work great for lots of other occasions too.
My card uses the new Vase Collection set along with the Thank You Florals set. I started my card by doing all of my stamping with the two set. The Thank You Florals set includes one larger floral cluster and then small flowers that can be layered. It so easy to create a pretty bouquet with as much or as little detail as you prefer.
Next, I used a piece of aqua mist patterned paper covered with vellum to create my background. I then attached a circle that had been ink blended with harvest gold ink and die cut with the new Delicate Circle die. For my frame I used the Border Bling: Skinny Heart Frame die. Lastly, I attached my floral bouquet along with my sentiment to finish my card.
Thanks for joining me and I hope you liked my cards. The release will be available on Sunday February 27th at 10:00 pm EST in the online shop. I will be back tomorrow for day two of the countdown.
Enjoy your day,
