New Release Countdown: Day 2

Hi friends! Welcome back to day 2 of the countdown for Papertrey Ink. I have two cards to share today, so let's get started...

For my first card, I started by stamping my eggs with the new Easter Egg-travagance set. This set includes the egg backgrounds and then filler stamps to stamp the flowers and leaves. The leaves and flowers are all on one stamp so it makes it easy to use and line up.

For my card panel, I ink blended Spring Rain ink onto a piece of white cardstock. I then added a few blue splatters with reinker for some added interest. Next, I used the new Picket Fence die. I love the size of this die. It nicely fills a card panel and I know it it a die I will use often. 

To finish my card I used the new Grassy Edge die to create my grass for the bottom of my card. Once the grass was attached, I tucked my eggs and a few extra flowers to my card to finish it off.

My next card uses the new Spring Carrots die set. I ran the dies through my die cutting machine and then added Orange Zest and New Leaf ink to the die cuts before assembling. 

Next, I used the Love to Layer: Scalloped Circle die to create my circle for the center of my card. I then used the new Just Sentiments: Spring Blessings set to stamp my sentiment. I attached the circle to a piece of purple patterned paper and added a frame that had been die cut with the Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frame die. Lastly I attached my carrots to finish the card.
