Blog Hop
Hi friends and welcome to the second day of the Spring and Easter Blog Hop for Pretty Pink Posh! I hope you loved all of the inspiration that was shared yesterday. It's such a great release and I can't wait to share all of my projects with you.
I started my card by using the new Layered Egg Stencil to create my background. During sneak peek week I used this same stencil and masked off each egg to not allow for any blending of colors on the eggs. This time, I just used a light hand and allowed the colors to over lap and blend. This technique was a lot easier and quicker to create and I honestly love how it turned out. I think the light blending of the colors is perfect for Easter.Next, I used the new Easter Signs set to stamp my images. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the Easter Signs dies to cut them out. I then used the Easter Circle die set to create my background for the images. I love the background shape included with this set, and remember all of the circle sets can be mixed and matched to give you lots of options.
