Reverse Confetti
Inspiration Station
Hi friends! I saw this colorful piece of art on Pinterest and fell in love with the colors. I decided to use the colors for my inspiration and card design today.
I started my card by making my card panel. I used the colors from the art as my guide and cut 1/2 inch strips in the same colors. I attached the strips to a card panel and then used the Springtime Sentiments set to stamp my sentiment onto the red strip at the bottom of my panel.
Next, I used the Big Sun die to die cut the large sun from the center of my panel. I inlaid a white sun die cut into the opening and attached a piece of acetate to the back of the panel. I added foam adhesive around the edges of the opening and filled with my shaker with yellow jewels that I had in my stash. Lastly, I closed the shaker up with a piece of yellow cardstock and then attached my panel to an A2 card base. Such a simple card to make but I love the colorful background with the crisp white sun and sentiment.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my card. I also hope I inspired you to look at art or an image and create a fun colorful background of your own.
Enjoy your day,
