The Greetery

Breath of Spring

Hi friends and welcome back to day 2 of product introductions for The Greetery.  Today we are using lots of the new dies. There are two new BotaniCuts dies sets, a Curio: Spring Findings die set and a beautiful sentiment set that we will be using today. You can find all of the new product information on The Greetery Blog. I have three cards to share today so let's get started...

For my first card I used the new Curio: Spring Finding die set. I die cut all of the images from white cardstock and ink blended them in soft spring colors. I used a light hand and kept my colors very light and muted.

Next, I used the Curio: Divider & Details die to create my frame. I ink blended the inside pieces and then inlaid them back into the frame before attaching my die cut images. I also used the Curio: Divider & Details die for my vase and label. Once my panel was finished I added a few splatters with white and gold metallic paint.

To finish my card I used the Curio: Cover Die to create my frame for around my panel. Lastly, I used the Curio: Labels Stamp Set to stamp my sentiment onto a banner (from the Curio: Divider & Details die set).

The images in this set are so sweet. I love how you can use the images to create a curiosity box or just on their own too. That little snail might just be my favorite!

My next card uses the new BotaniCuts Crocus dies. I started my card by using the Crocus dies to create my flowers and foliage. I ran the dies through my die cutting machine with white cardstock and then ink blended the pieces with dye ink.

To create my card panel I used the Crimped Frame Die. I ink blended the panel with a soft aqua ink and then attached my florals and foliage across the bottom.

Lastly,  I used the new Amen & Alleluia stamp and Alleluia die set for my sentiment. Such a beautiful sentiment set. I love how the stamp sets includes companion sentiments that can be used with the stand alone dies.

Are you still with me? My last card uses the new BotaniCuts Pussy Willow dies. This set includes three dies that you can use to create three pussy willow branches. These dies easily layer together to create your branches. I used Distress Oxide ink in Brushed Corduroy for the branches and Spun Sugar for the buds.

Next, I ink blended Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink to create my card panel. I then added a circle in the center that had been die cut with the Crimped Circle dies. I attached the Pussy Willow to the circle and added a bow that was created with the Put A Bow On It set. Lastly, I used the Amen stand alone die to create my sentiment.

I had never thought of using the Curio line and a light color scheme for thinking of you cards. I like the finished touch that the crimped dies give to the second and third cards.
