Breath of Spring Collection

Hi crafty friends! I hope you all are doing well and having a great week. Today is day one of product reveals for the new release at The Greetery, Breath of Spring. This release is packed full of so many beautiful new products! Stamps and dies that are perfect for spring, Easter and so much more. All of the new release products will be available on Thursday, March 17th at 10 AM EST in the online shop. I have two cards to share today so let's get started...

My first card uses the new, Print Shop: Spring Mix stamp, stencil and die combo set. If you've followed my blog for awhile you know I love stamp and stencil combo sets and this one just might be a new favorite!! I love the way it covers a card panel and the die really makes the details pop. I started my card by die cutting first. I have found if I stencil over the die cuts it helps keep everything lined up. I then used the coordinating stencils and added my color. I used a variety of dye inks for this step.

Next, I used the single image floral stamps and dies (I love that these are included in the set) to stamp the flowers in coordinating colors. This step is totally unnecessary but I wanted to add a little dimension to my card panel. I attached the flowers to my card panel with foam adhesive and then added some white paint splatters as an added detail. 

I stamped my sentiment onto a circle that had been die cut with the Sentiment Suite Basic Die. Lastly, I used a glue pen and added a little glitter to the center of my flowers as a final touch.

My next card uses the adorable Springtime set that coordinates with the previous released Hourglass dies. I started my card by making my the top layer of my shaker with the Hourglass Insert Die. You can watch a video here: Hourglass Video that shows you all of the steps for creating your own shaker card. I then used the new Springtime stamp and die set to create my scene directly onto my card panel. The images are just so darling! They are adorable in the hourglass but will also be so sweet on their own. I have a baby shower I was invited to next month,  and I think I will use this set to create a card for that special occasion.

Once my scene was complete I added acetate and foam adhesive behind my opening and filled my shaker with a sequins mix that will be available at The Greetery. Next, I used the Hourglass Frame Die to create my frame for around the opening. I die cut the frame from a piece of soft pink glittered cardstock I had in my stash and attached it directly to the card panel. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment onto a banner that had been die cut with the Christmas Time Sentiment Die. The sentiments in the Springtime set coordinate perfectly with this die.
