Home Sweet Gnome

Sunny Studio

September 3, 2018

Happy Monday! I hope your week is off to a Great start and you Enjoyed your weekend! I have a couple of fun cards today using stamps and dies from Sunny Studios

For my first card, I began with a cardstock panel and die cut a circle out of the middle using the MFT Stamps, Single Stitch Line Circle Frame die set. I then ink blended a sky and grass background with Distress Oxide Ink (Broken China and Mowed Lawn) and attached it behind my circle. I added a patterned paper strip to the bottom of my panel and used it as a guide for my sentiment. I cut the panel out with a MFT Stamps stitched edge background die. I then colored my gnome, mushrooms and bird with Copic markers and attached it to my card with foam tape. I mounted my card panel onto a dark wood grain paper and then attached it to an A2 card base.

For my next card... I maybe got a little carried away! The Gnomes are just so cute, I wanted to use them all!! I used the Sunny Studio Comic Strip Everyday die for my Frames. I inlaid patterned paper from Simple Stories into the frames. I then colored my scene with Copic markers and die cut all the images. I once again used foam tape to attach my images to my card.

Aren't these Gnomes just the Cutest? I will definitely be making a lot more cards with this stamp set!! These Gnomes quickly became a favorite of mine...
