Paper Packages Tied Up With String
Papertrey Ink- Make It Monday
September 30, 2018
Hello and Welcome! I hope you all had a Wonderful weekend!! I have been busy with some projects the last few days, but today I snuck in a little time to participate in the Make It Monday Challenge at Papertrey Ink.
I always Love Melissa Phillips' creations and this week was no exception!! She is the Queen of Beautiful layers (if there was such a thing). She challenged us to use printed paper and make some sort of packaging. I am going to be in need of Christmas gift card holder and treat boxes soon, so that was my motivation today.
Everything I used today is from the Make It Market All Through The House kit from Papertrey Ink. I die cut the matchbox die (which will be rereleased tomorrow) and the wrap. I die cut all the windows and added a glittery snow covered roof to the front.
On the inside I cut out a scene panel and stamped my sentiment. I then die cut a backing and slid the gorgeous red and white wide ribbon through the slit. I tied it with baker's twine and added a wreath and two small bells. Lastly, I attached my matchbox (gift card holder) to the back panel with a strong liquid glue to hold it together and keep it attached. In other words, the outside wrap is attached to the back panel with the ribbon. The inside piece slides in and out to open.
Thank You for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed my little package!
