The Card Concept

A Rainbow of Thanks

September 12, 2018

I was so excited to see that The Card Concept challenge was going again!! It was always one that I enjoyed with some of my favorite designers too!! Here is the Inspiration photo for their challenge this time:

Rainbows!! What more could I ask for...

I began my card by die cutting the MFT Stamps Cross Stitch Rectangle onto a card panel. I then began stitching, it does take a bit of time but it is definitely something I enjoy. I find it very relaxing to just stitch in rows like I did for my card. There is no counting involved or pattern to follow. Once my stitching was complete I die cut the word Thanks a few times to give it some dimension and attached it to my card front.

I had a hard time deciding on the background shadow. I ended up going with gray...what do you think? I hope you enjoyed my card today! And if you get a chance make a card for The Card Concept, I would love to see what you create.

Supplies:
Dies: MFT Stamps- Cross Stitch Rectangle and Simon Says Stamp- Big Thanks
Paper: Cardstock- Papertrey Ink
Other: DMC Floss

Thanks for stopping by,
Dana
