I Scream, You ScreamSeptember 26, 2018
Are you ready for some Ice Cream Fun? I have a card and a treat box to share with you today. I will be linking my post up to both the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge and The Card Concept (Pastel Party) Challenge.
The Lawn Fawnatics was to combine an older product with a new product. My older product is the Goodie Bag die and my new product is the I Scream, You Scream Ice Cream dies. I thought it would be fun to combine the two to make a Birthday card and treat bag. I also used The Card Concept photo for my inspiration- rainbows, ice cream, and softer/pastel colors!!
I began my card by using Distress Oxide Ink. I blended the colors in Rainbow order on my card front. I then misted it with water.
Next, I used a polka dot stencil (from Papertrey Ink) and added molding paste to my card front.
Once that was dry I began to assemble my card. I die cut my ice cream and all the fun little details from the I Scream, You Scream die set. Then, I die cut the Embroidered Frame (Papertrey Ink) in white cardstock. I stamped my sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Sweetest Flavor stamp set on a banner and attached everything to my card.
For my Goodie Bag I used the smaller polka dot stencil and added molding paste to my bag before I assembled it.
I die cut the popsicle from the I Scream, You Scream die set. I also cut out the smaller frame from the Embroidered Frames set. Once everything was cut and assembled I attached them to my Goodie Bag.
The little treat bag is the perfect size for a gift card to the local ice cream shop! I hope you enjoyed my project today. Please feel free to ask any questions.
