Hi Friends! I am stopping in today to share a fun card for Pretty Pink Posh. The latest release sold out very quickly... I know things were immediately reordered and the stamps and dies have been restocked. Hopefully you will be able to get everything on your list!
I needed a Graduation card for a party we are going to this weekend. So I thought the adorable flamingo could wear a graduation cap. What do you think? I say, why not?
I started my card by stamping the flamingo from the Tropical Birds Stamp Set and the graduation cap from the Congrats Grad Stamp Set with a Copic friendly ink. I colored my images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
To create my card panel, I used the Tropical Background Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink in Cracked Pistachio. Next, I stamped my sentiment from the Congrats Grad stamp set in black ink. I trimmed my panel down to 3.25 x 4.5 inches. I then mounted my panel onto a piece of cement gray cardstock and attached my flamingo with foam adhesive.
To finish my card, I added a piece of black and white striped paper to the bottom of my top fold A2 card base. I then attached my card panel to the front of my card. Lastly, I added a few jewels from the Citrus Jewels Mix to my card front...every card needs a little sparkle.
