Hello

Technique Tuesday

June 11, 2019

Good Morning Stamping Friends! Today, I am sharing a card using the Blooming Branches Stamp Set from Technique Tuesday.

I started my card by stamping the Blooming Branches images with VersaMark ink and heat setting gold embossing powder onto the image. Next, I used Zig Clean Color Pens to watercolor my images. I only used two color (No 031 Cobalt Blue and No. 045 Pale Green) and just added water or more color for my shading. Once it was dry I used the Blooming Branches Coordinating Die to die cut my image.

Next, I began working on my card design. I created my background by ink blending Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass onto my card panel. I spritzed my background with water and added a few specks of white paint. I set this aside to dry and worked on my other elements. I die cut the large Essential Stitched Label from white cardstock. I also die cut the Hello (included in the Blooming Branches die set) from gold glitter paper.

To finish my card, I trimmed down my ink blended card panel and attached my label to the center. I attached my floral image with foam adhesive and used liquid glue to attach my Hello sentiment.

I know I say this every month...but the Blooming Branches stamp set just might be my favorite!

Enjoy your day,
