Helen and Harry the Hippos

Technique Tuesday

Hi Friends! There is a New Release coming to Technique Tuesday tomorrow, but I had one more card I wanted to share from the last release. For my card, I am using the Animal House Stamp and Die Set: Helen and Harry the Hippos. Theses Hippos are so cute and the sentiments are sure to make you smile!

I started my card by stamping the hippo and little bird from the Helen and Harry the Hippos Stamp Set with Memento black ink. I then colored my images with my Copic markers and used the Helen and Harry the Hippos Crafting Dies to die cut my images. I set these aside and began working on my card panel.

I die cut a basic stitched circle from vellum and used Wow: Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder for my sentiment. The sentiments in this set are so fun! I mounted my vellum circle onto a piece of aqua patterned paper and then attached my images with foam adhesive.

To finish my card, I mounted my focal circle onto a piece of rainbow patterned paper (Sunny Studio, Rainbow Bright and Polka dot Parade patterned paper pack) and mounted everything onto my A2 card base.
