Flowers in Bloom

MFT Stamps

July 12, 2019

Happy Friday Friends!! I hope you all had a Wonderful week. Yesterday afternoon I had a little time so I thought I would use a new stamp from MFT Stamps and play along with their Color Challenge. It just started so there is still plenty of time to play along.

I started my card by stamping the gorgeous Flowers in Bloom image in VersaMark ink and heat setting black embossing powder. Next, I used my Color Burst powders by Ken Oliver for my watercoloring. I put the powder into a small tin which makes them easier to use and store. The colors I used were Fuchsia, Tangerine and Chartreuse. I also added some color from my Zig markers to do a little extra shading.

Next, I used the coordinating Flowers in Bloom die to die cut my flowers. I then mounted my flowers onto a Blue Raspberry cardstock mat.

For my sentiment, I used the Essential Sentiments stamp set. This is  such a great basic sentiment set, I love the variety of sentiments that are included.

To finish my card, I mounted my image onto a Pineapple mat and attached everything to a white A2 card base. Such a fun color combination, perfect for summer.

Thanks for stopping by.
Enjoy your day,
Dana
