Bold Butterflies

Hi friends and welcome back to my second post for Concord & 9th!! Today we are using the gorgeous new butterfly sets.  

My first cards uses the Bold Butterflies Stamp and Die Set. I stamped my butterflies in a rainbow of colors. The colors used: Ballet Slipper, Honeysuckle, Grapefruit, Poppy, Buttercup, Marmalade, Sprout, Parsley, Aqua Sky and Oceanside. 

To create my card panel I used a cloud stencil and a little soft aqua ink. I then used a coordinating reinker and added a few splatters. Next, I attached my butterflies and sentiment onto my panel. I love that the dies include a skinny banner that coordinates with all of the sentiments. Lastly, I added a few sequins as a final detail. 

My next card uses the Butterfly Perfect Pairings Die.

I started my card by creating my rainbow background. I cut stripes of cardstock into 1/2 inch strips and attached them to my card panel. I used the same colors as above to create my rainbow. 

Next, I die cut the butterflies with the butterfly die from the Butterfly Perfect Pairings Die. I ran the die through my die cutting machine three times and stacked the dies for some dimension. Lastly, I used another sentiment from the Bold Butterflies Set to finish my card. 

What do you think? Are you loving these colors from Concord & 9th as much as I am? I've compared them to the cardstock I typically use and the colors don't compare. They are so unique and fun!
