New Release Countdown: Day 3

I am back today with day 3 of the countdown for Papertrey Ink. All of the new products will be available on Friday, March 25th at 10pm EST in the online shop. I have two card to share today so let's get started...

My first card uses the new Posies & Sprigs set. These set includes the sweetest floral images and leaves. I love the size of the leaves and I know it will be a set that I reach for often. 

For my card panel, I used the Cornered: Lace and Elegant Edges: Lace dies. I went over the panel with Hibiscus Burst ink and a blending brush to create a soft pink background. Next, I used the Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frame die to create my frame for around the panel. 

I used the new Just Sentiments: Quote set to stamp my sentiment onto a frame that had been die cut with the It's a Sign: Hanging Frames Stitched Layers die. Once I attached my florals and foliage to my card panel I added a few white paint splatters to finish my card.

My next card uses the new Feathered Friends 21 set...

I started my card by die cutting the images from the Feathered Friends 21 and Posies & Sprigs die sets. I then used my MISTI to line up and stamp my images onto the die cuts.

I created my card panel with a piece of Blueberry Sky patterned paper. I then added a frame that had once again been die cut with the Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frame die. For my sentiment, I used the new Inside Greetings: Quotes for Friendship stamp set. I stamped the sentiment onto a circle that had been die cut with the medium Love to Layer: Scalloped Circle die. Lastly, I attached my sentiment circle and stamped images to my card panel with foam adhesive.
