Lawn Fawn

Slider Card

September 27, 2018

Hello and Welcome Back!! Today I am participating in the Lawn Fawnatics challenge with a Slider Card. I bought this die when it was first released, though this is my first time using it. It was really easy to use, but I do recommend watching the video on the Lawn Fawn Website. The video is very easy to follow and gives you lots of great tips.

I started my card by die cutting all the slider pieces from white cardstock. I used Distress Ink and lightly added some blue ink for the sky. Next, I used the Lawn Fawn: Simple Stitched Hillside Borders to create my snowbank and ground.

I stamped all my images from both the Lawn Fawn: Nutty or Nice? Stamptember Simon Says Stamp Set and the Toboggan Together Stamp Set. I colored my images with Copic Markers and then die cut all the pieces. I attached all the critters and images to each of my slider card panels.

I followed the Lawn Fawn video while I was assembling my card. The one tip or thing I will be more aware of next time is the inside edge of the slider panel. I should of scooted my pieces more to the middle or outside edge. The inside edge doesn't get pulled all the way out, so if your stamped images are to close to the inside you won't see them.

Such a fun card!! I think next I will make one with a Halloween theme...
