PTI Blog Hop

Give Thanks

September 25, 2018

Today is a Fun day over at the Papertrey Ink Blog. On the 25th of every month they host a Blog Hop.
Last month (August) the blog hop was postponed because of Stamp A Faire, but the photo got posted by mistake. I didn't realize this, and once I saw the photo on my blog reader app, I was so inspired I created two cards and then realized the Blog Hop wasn't happening. So I have had my cards made for awhile now.

Here is the Gorgeous Fall inspiration photo.

I began my cards by using the Bold Borders Diagonal Die. I cut it out of a piece of Kraft and Olive Twist cardstock. Then I inlaid other Papertrey Ink Fall Colors back into the die. This was easy because PTI has so many Wonderful Fall Colors to choose from. Here are my completed card fronts.

Next, I began my stamping. I used the Autumn Pumpkins stamp set for my pumpkins. I also used the small leaves from the Autumn Scarecrow stamp set.

The little leaves add the perfect little detail. I colored them with Copic markers and then added some gold glitter with the Nuvo gold glitter shimmer pen.

Next, I used the Simply Stitched A2 Vertical Dies to cut out my center rectangle. I then stamped my sentiments in Dark Chocolate ink and then restamped the sentiments with Versamark ink and added clear embossing powder. The sentiments are from the Autumn Pumpkins and Give Thanks stamp sets.

I popped up my middle panel with foam adhesive. I also popped up the pumpkin and leaves with foam adhesive too.

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Papertrey Ink- Autumn Pumpkins, Autumn Scarecrow, Give Thanks
Dies: Papertrey Ink- Bold Borders Diagonal Die, Simply Stitched A2 Vertical Die Set, Autumn Pumpkins, Autumn Scarecrow
Paper: Papertrey Ink Cardstock
Ink: Papertrey Ink
Other: Clear Embossing Powder, Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Gold

I am looking forward to seeing what everyone has created for the Blog Hop!!
Thanks for stopping by,
Dana
