Be Merry!

PinkFresh Studio: December Days

December 5, 2018

Good Morning!! Today, I have two cards to share with you! I couldn't decide on which colors I wanted to use so I made one in more traditional Christmas colors and one in pastel Christmas colors...which do you prefer?

I used the The Card Concept and Case This Sketch Challenge for my inspiration. Here are the photos:

I began my cards by using the PinkFresh Studio stamp set December Days. This is a darling stamp set with really sweet images. I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers. Once they were colored I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

On my more traditional card, I used some red and white striped paper from Papertrey Ink to give the appearance of the chevron stripes that were used in the Case This Sketch image. Next, I mounted my focal panel onto a piece of white cardstock that had been embossed with a polka dot embossing folder from Stampin Up. I then added a black mat to my card front before attaching it to my card base.

My pastel card followed the same layout as above...just used softer colors. I added a few sequins to both cards for some added detail. I hope you enjoyed my cards today! Do you prefer the traditional colors or the pastels? I definitely tend to use both.

Supplies:
Stamp Set: PinkFresh Studio- December Days
Dies: PinkFresh Studio- December Days
Paper: Papertrey Ink
Other: Stampin Up- Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions

Enjoy your day,
Dana
