Papertrey Ink

Blog Hop

December 26, 2018

Good Morning! I hope you all had a Wonderful Christmas!! I wasn't sure if I was going to participate in the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop this month, but I found a little time to create a card.

When I saw the inspiration photo I knew I wanted to create a floral heart as my focus. Since I didn't have one I created my own with some of the small flowers in the Bloomin' Cute stamp set.

I began my card by stamping a few different flowers and leaves in Hibiscus Burst, Limeade Ice, Green Parakeet and Bright Buttercup ink. Next, I lightly traced a heart onto my card front (to give myself the basic shape) and then started laying my flowers and leaves onto the heart shape.

Next, I used a PTI edger die to make my border at the bottom of my card panel. I then added a thin piece of Hibiscus Burst cardstock and mounted that onto a piece of Limeade Ice patterned paper.

For my sentiment, I used the Keep It Simple Thinking of You stamp set. If you get a chance stop by the PTI Blog today...there is sure to be a lot of inspiration!!

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: PTI- Bloomin' Cute, Keep It Simple
Dies: PTI- Bloomin' Cute, Edgers
Paper: PTI
Ink: PTI

Thanks for stopping by,
Dana
