Hello Beautiful

MFT Stamps

June 24, 2019

Happy Monday Friends! I hope you all had a great weekend!! I spent my weekend at home being productive. I am so excited to be going to Junkie Fest (stamp convention and classes) later this week, so I spent some time getting my supplies ready and organized. I hope to post a little in my Instagram stories each day if you would like to follow along.
Today, I am sharing a card for a few challenges at MFT Stamps. I combined both the Color Challenge and the Wednesday Sketch Challenge for my card.

I started my card by using the MFT Stamps Funky Florals stencil with Distress Oxide Ink in Picked Raspberry. I then used the MFT Stamps Stitched Edges dies to create my arch (following the sketch). I mounted this onto my polka dot embossed Limelight A2 card base.

Next, I die cut the MFT Stamps Beautiful word die from Steel Grey cardstock and white cardstock. I also, heat embossed Happy Birthday from the MFT Stamps Hello Beautiful Stamp Set. I then stamped and die cut my flowers from the MFT Stamps Bold Blooms set. Once again, using the colors and the sketch as my guide.

To finish my card, I attached a vellum circle behind my flowers and sentiment...this helped to "anchor" everything. Lastly, I added my sentiment and my flowers with foam adhesive to my card front.

Definitely a bright and summery card today.
Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy your day,
Dana
