Sending Sunshine

Pink & Main

February 2, 2020

Good Morning Friends! Today I am sharing a card on the Pink & Main Blog that will hopefully bring you a little sunshine. Usually by this time of year I am tired of the cold and ready for a little sun. How about you?

I started my card by creating my background. I used the Garden Gate Stencil along with a soft gray ink. I also used the new Ergonomic Blending Brush for the first time...Wow!! I am in Love!! They are so easy to use and I love the grip with no long handle. Makes it easy to create a smooth and effortless blended background.

I stamped my vase and flowers from the Gorgeous Vases Stamp Set. I used Zig Watercolor Pens to watercolor the flowers (No. 025, No. 021, No. 052, No. 045 and No. 047) and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Next, I stamped my sentiment from the Spring Sentiments Stamp Set onto a Sentiment Strip Die. This is such a great set of sentiments, it has all of your spring holidays and sayings covered...definitely a must have! To finish my card I die cut my card mats with the Stitched Rectangles Dies and layered them onto my card base. I then attached my vase, flowers and sentiment strip with some foam adhesive. Lastly, I added a few sparkly jewels to finish my card.

Thanks for joining me today!
Enjoy your day,
Dana
