Easter Peeps

Ink To Paper

February 25, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are doing well. I am stopping by today with an Easter card to share with you. I fell in love with the Love My Peeps Stamp Set from Ink to Paper that was released earlier this month, and couldn't wait to create another card.

Now you know I love a rainbow card, and these Easter images were just screaming at me to stamp them in a rainbow of colors. Once I started stamping, I realized my images would not fit on a standard A2 card front... So I decided to make a slimline card.

Once I had all of my images stamped, I began working on my card design. I used the Trinity Stamps Slimline Scalloped Card Panels and Banner Die Set to create my background. I added Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass and Broken China to my die cut. Next, I used the Trinity Stamps Slimline Scenic Border Die to create my grass. For this piece, I used Distress Oxide Ink in Mowed Lawn.  I spritzed my card panels with water and set them aside to dry.

Next, I attached my grass to my scalloped card panel with foam adhesive. I then added my stamped images to my card front. I tucked the pieces in here and there with different pieces of foam adhesive to create depth and interest.

Once all of my my images were attached, I stamped my sentiment onto a banner that is included in the Scalloped Card Panel Die Set.

To finish my card, I attached my card panel to a 3.5 x 8.5 card base. This card size will fit in a standard size envelope, and Trinity Stamps also sells them in a variety of colors. Here is the link: Slimline Envelope Assortment.
Thanks for joining me today! I will be back soon to share another project with you all.
Enjoy your day,
