Love & Happy Thoughts

Trinity Stamps

February 17, 2020

Good Morning Friends and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a Wonderful weekend! Today I am on the Trinity Stamp Blog. I am sharing a card that uses an alcohol ink background along with some fun stamps from the New Release.

I started my card by creating my background. I used alcohol inks and Yupo paper. Once that was dry, I die cut a stitched rectangle from my background with the Slimline Card Series: Frame and Fold Die Set. I then stamped the Love and Happy Thoughts image onto my rectangle with VersaMark ink. Next, I heat set my image with black embossing powder. You want to make sure your heat gun is very hot and you keep it moving when you are using it with Yupo paper...otherwise your paper will warp.

For my card design, I used a Blending Buddy Brush and ink blended a card panel with a soft pink ink. I trimmed this down and attached it to a strip of my Alcohol Ink paper that was leftover to make my card front. I mounted my Love and Happy Thoughts image onto a black cardstock mat and attached this to my card front with foam adhesive.

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment from the Love and Stuff Sentiment Set onto a black cardstock banner and added white embossing powder.

I can't wait to get this card in the mail...I think it will bring a smile to someone's face.

Enjoy your day,
Dana
